Detailed Introduction
The single microinfusion cannula consists of a guide cannula, cannula cap, injection inner tube, locking nut, and compatible tubing.
Medical-grade stainless steel is used as the fluid delivery pathway and implanted directly into tissue to ensure excellent biocompatibility. During long-term implantation, a steel wire inside the cannula cap prevents tissue from entering the base opening.
For drug administration or electrode insertion, the cannula cap can be removed directly. For ultra-low flow applications, drug delivery can be achieved via the injection inner tube.
To minimize tissue damage, different main cannula base diameters are designed according to animal body weight:
Rodents: 400–650 μm
Dogs / Monkeys: 650–800 μm

Note: When ordering a single microinfusion cannula, please specify:
Cannula length L1
Injection inner tube protrusion length L3
Cap plug protrusion length L4
(See table above for detailed dimensions; L1 range: 0–20 mm; L3 & L4 range: 0–1.0 mm)
The double microinfusion cannula is designed to meet experimental needs for simultaneous injection of two drugs. It supports bilateral intracranial implantation and is suitable for delivering identical or different drugs to two distinct target sites.
