Detailed Introduction
background:
Thymic stromal lymphopoietin (TSLP) is an epithelial cell-derived cytokine involved in the pathology of inflammatory skin diseases and is widely expressed in epithelial cells. The human TSLP cDNA encodes a 159 amino acid (aa) residue precursor protein with a 28 aa signal sequence (4, 5). Human TSLP has been shown to develop nondeletion central tolerance, amplify epithelial-induced class switching, induce atopic disease, and maintain a non-inflammatory environment in the intestine. Among the different cells that respond to human TSLP, CD11c+ dendritic cells are the most obvious target cells.
Overview:
Antigen name: Human TSLP (R127A, R130A) Protein, His Tag;
Other names: TSLP;
Sequence source: Human TSLP (R127A, R130A) protein, His Tag (TSP-H52Ha) expressed by Human 293 cells (HEK293), with His tag;
Molecular Weight: The calculated molecular weight of this protein is 16.7 kDa . Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates at 25-29 kDa under reducing conditions (SDS-PAGE) .
