Detailed Introduction
background:
Human CD30, also known as TNFRSF8, is a cell membrane protein and tumor marker of the tumor necrosis factor receptor family. TNFRSF-8 is expressed by activated T cells and B cells, but not by resting T cells. In addition, CD30 is expressed on classical Hodgkin lymphoma cells together with CD15. CD30 is a receptor for TNFSF8/CD30L. CD30 can interact with TRAF2 and TRAF5 and mediate signal transduction leading to NF-κ-B activation. TNFRSF8 may play a role in regulating cell growth and transformation of activated lymphoblasts. TNFRSF8 is a positive regulator of apoptosis and has also been shown to limit the proliferative potential of autoreactive CD8 effector T cells and protect the body from autoimmunity.
Overview:
Antigen name: Human CD30 / TNFRSF8 Protein, Fc Tag;
Other names: TNFRSF8, CD30, D1S166E, Ki-1;
Sequence source: human CD30, Fc tag (CD0-H5250) expressed by human 293 cells (HEK293) with Fc tag;
Molecular Weight: The calculated molecular weight of this protein is 64.6 kDa . Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates between 80-130 kDa when calibrated against the Star Ribbon prestained protein marker under reducing conditions (SDS-PAGE) .
