Detailed Introduction
background:
LRRC15 (Leucine-rich repeat protein 15) is also known as LIB and hLib . LRRC15 is highly expressed in a variety of solid tumors. LRRC15 is expressed on stromal fibroblasts of many solid tumors (e.g., breast, head and neck, lung, pancreatic cancer) and directly on subsets of cancer cells of mesenchymal origin (e.g., sarcoma, melanoma, glioblastoma). TGFβ induces LRRC15 expression on activated fibroblasts (αSMA+) and mesenchymal stem cells. These collective findings suggest that LRRC15 is a novel CAF and mesenchymal marker that could serve as a therapeutic target for the treatment of LRRC15-positive stromal fibroproliferative cancers or cancers of mesenchymal origin. ABBV-085 is a monomethyl auristatin E (MMAE)-containing antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) targeting LRRC15 that has demonstrated strong preclinical efficacy in LRRC15 stromal-positive/cancer-negative and LRRC15 cancer-positive models as a monotherapy or in combination with standard of care therapies.
Overview:
Antigen name : Human LRRC15 / LIB Protein, His Tag;
Other names : leucine-rich repeat protein 15, LRRC15, LIB, hLib ;
Sequence source : human LRRC15, His tag (LR5-H52H3) expressed from human 293 cells (HEK293) with His tag;
Molecular Weight : The calculated molecular weight of this protein is 59.8 kDa . Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates at 70-90 kDa when calibrated against the Star Ribbon prestained protein marker under reducing conditions (SDS-PAGE) .
