Detailed Introduction
background:
TROP-2 is a single-copy gene in human cells that encodes a type 1 transmembrane glycoprotein that is overexpressed in various malignancies and is also known as tumor-associated calcium signal transducer 2 (TACSTD2), GA733-1, or M1S1. TROP-2 is associated with epithelial cell adhesion molecule ( EpCAM ), also known as TROP-1, gp40, and KSA. Trop-1 and Trop-2 are homologous to serum IGF-II binding protein and appear as signal transducers. Therefore, they may represent new cell surface receptors and may play a role in regulating the growth of cancer cells.
Overview:
Antigen name: Human TROP-2 / TACSTD2 Protein, Fc Tag;
Other names: TACSTD2, GA733-1, M1S1, TROP2;
Sequence source: Human TROP-2, Fc tag (TR2-H5253) expressed by human 293 cells (HEK293) with Fc tag;
Molecular Weight: The calculated molecular weight of this protein is 54.3 kDa . Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates at 60-70 kDa under reducing conditions (SDS-PAGE) .
