Detailed Introduction
Antigen Name:
Recombinant human GUCY2C/ Guanylylcyclase C protein (His Tag)/Human GUCY2C / Guanylylcyclase C Protein, His Tag;
Other Names:
GUCY2C, GUC2C, STAR, STA receptor, hSTAR , GC-C;
background:
GUCY2C (guanylate cyclase C), also known as heat-stable enterotoxin receptor, is a type I transmembrane protein of the guanylate cyclase ( gc ) family that signals through the production of cGMP. Guanylate cyclase C (GUCY2C) and its hormones guanylate and uroguanylate have recently emerged as a paracrine axis that protects intestinal mucosal integrity from mutational, chemical, and inflammatory insults. GUCY2C murine CAR-T cells recognize and kill human colorectal cancer cells that endogenously express GUCY2C. Thus, we have discovered a human GUCY2C-specific CAR-T cell therapy for the treatment of GUCY2C-expressing metastatic colorectal cancer.
Sequence source:
Human GUCY2C / Guanylylcyclase C Protein, His Tag is expressed by Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells; the protein number is P25092-1 (Ser24 - Gln430), with His tag;
Molecular Weight:
The theoretical molecular weight is 47.91 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the molecular weight of SDS-PAGE reduction electrophoresis is 55-85 kDa.
