Detailed Introduction
Antigen Name:
Recombinant human Nectin-2 / CD112 protein (His Tag) / Human Nectin-2 / CD112 Protein, His Tag;
Other Names:
CD112, Nectin-2, PVRL2;
background:
Poliovirus receptor-related 2 (PVRL2), also known as endotoxin-2 and CD112 (formerly herpesvirus entry mediator B, HVEB), is a human plasma membrane glycoprotein. PVRL2 is one of the plasma membrane components of the adhesion junction. PVRL2 is also the entry point for some variants of herpes simplex virus and pseudorabies virus and is involved in the cell-to-cell spread of these viruses. Variations in the PVRL2 gene are associated with differences in the severity of multiple sclerosis. In addition, PVRL2 has a low binding affinity to TIGIT. In addition, PVRL2 is a receptor for mutant Rid1 of herpes simplex virus 1 (HHV-1), herpes simplex virus 1 (HHV-2), and pseudorabies virus (PRV).
Sequence source:
Human Nectin-2 / CD112 Protein, His Tag is expressed by Chinese Hamster Ovary (CHO) cells; the protein number is Q92692-2 (Gln32 - Leu360), with His tag;
Molecular Weight:
The theoretical molecular weight is 37.43 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the molecular weight of SDS-PAGE reduction electrophoresis is 45-55 kDa.
