Detailed Introduction
Antigen Name:
Recombinant human CEACAM-5/CD66e protein (His Tag)/Human CEACAM-5/CD66eProtein, His Tag;
Other Names:
CEACAM-5, CD66e, CEA, Meconium antigen 100;
background:
Carcinoembryonic antigen-related cell adhesion molecule 5 (CEACAM5), also known as carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), meconium antigen 100, CD antigen CD66e, belongs to the immunoglobulin superfamily and the CEA family. CEACAM5 contains seven Ig-like (immunoglobulin-like) domains. CEACAM5 is a homodimeric protein, and binding to Escherichia coli Dr adhesin causes the homodimer to dissociate. CEACAM5 is a cell surface glycoprotein that plays a role in cell adhesion and intracellular signaling. CEACAM5 is a receptor for Escherichia coli Dr adhesin.
Sequence source:
Human CEACAM-5 / CD66eProtein, His Tag is expressed by Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells; protein number is P06731 (Lys35 - Ala685), with His tag;
Molecular Weight:
The theoretical molecular weight is 73.23 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the molecular weight of SDS-PAGE reduction electrophoresis is 100-130 kDa.
