Detailed Introduction
Antigen Name:
Human TROP-2/TACSTD2Protein, HisTag
Other Names:
TACSTD2, GA733-1, M1S1, TROP2;
background:
TROP-2 is a single-copy gene in human cells that encodes a type 1 transmembrane glycoprotein that is overexpressed in various malignancies and is also known as tumor-associated calcium signal transducer 2 (TACSTD2), GA733-1, or M1S1. TROP-2 is related to epithelial cell adhesion molecule ( EpCAM ), also known as TROP-1, gp40, and KSA. Trop-1 and Trop-2 are homologous to serum IGF-II binding protein and appear as signal transducers. Therefore, they may represent new cell surface receptors and show the possibility of playing a role in regulating the growth of cancer cells.
Sequence source:
Human TROP-2/TACSTD2 Protein, His Tag is expressed by Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells; the protein number is P09758-1 (Gln31-Thr274), with His tag;
Molecular Weight:
The theoretical molecular weight is 29.8 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the molecular weight of SDS-PAGE reduction electrophoresis is 40-50 kDa.
