Detailed Introduction
Antigen Name:
Human OX40Ligand/TNFSF4 Protein, His Tag ( active trimer )
Other Names:
OX40L, TNFSF4, CD252, Glycoprotein Gp34, TXGP1, CD134 ligand, CD134L;
background:
Tumor necrosis factor ligand superfamily member 4 (TNFSF4), also known as glycoprotein Gp34, OX40 ligand (OX40L), TAX transcriptional activator glycoprotein 1, and CD252, belongs to the tumor necrosis factor family. TNFSF4 is a ligand for CD134 and is expressed on cells such as DC2s (a subtype of dendritic cells), thereby expanding the differentiation of Th2 cells. TNFSF4-TNFSF4 interactions are involved in the pathogenesis of several autoimmune and inflammatory diseases, such as systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), carotid artery disease, and cancer. In addition, similar to other TNF superfamily members, membrane-bound OX40 ligand (TNFSF4) exists as a homotrimer. Human TNFSF4 shares 46% amino acid sequence identity with its mouse counterpart.
Sequence source:
Human OX40 Ligand/TNFSF4 Protein, His Tag (active trimer) is expressed by Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells; the protein number is NP_003317 (Gln51-Leu183), with His tag;
Molecular Weight:
The theoretical molecular weight is 16.9 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the molecular weight of SDS-PAGE reduction electrophoresis is 25-30 kDa.
