Detailed Introduction

Antigen Name:

Recombinant human PD1 ECD protein ( hFc tag).

background:

Recombinant human PD1 ECD protein ( hFc tag) is a fusion protein of recombinant human PD1 ECD (programmed cell death 1) and human IgG1 Fc. Programmed cell death 1, also known as PDCD1, is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein and an immunoreceptor of the CD28/CTLA-4 family that negatively regulates antigen receptor signaling by recruiting the protein tyrosine phosphatase SHP-2 through interaction with one of two ligands, PD-L1 or PD-L2. PD1 inhibits T cell proliferation and the production of related cytokines, including IL-1, IL-4, IL-1, and IFN-γ, by inhibiting the activation and transduction of the PI3K/AKT pathway. In addition, the coagulant effect of PD1 inhibits BCR- mediated signals by dephosphorylating key signal transducers. PD1 has been proposed to be involved in lymphocyte clonal selection and peripheral tolerance, thus helping to prevent autoimmune diseases. In addition, PD1 has been shown to be a regulator of virus-specific CD8+ T cell survival in HIV infection. As a cell surface molecule, PDCD1 regulates adaptive immune responses. The binding of PD-1 to its ligands PD-L1 or PD-L2 can transduce signals that inhibit T cell proliferation, cytokine production, and cytolytic function.
