Detailed Introduction
Recombinant human IL-4Ra ECD protein (His tag).
Antigen Name:
Recombinant human IL-4Ra ECD protein ( hFc tag) is a fusion protein of recombinant human IL-4Ra ECD (interleukin 4 receptor) and his tag. The cluster of differentiation (CD) system is often used as a cell marker in immunoassays. Different types of cells in the immune system can be identified by surface CD molecules associated with cellular immune functions. More than 32 unique clusters and subclusters of CD have been identified. Some CD molecules act as receptors or ligands important to cells by initiating signaling cascades that change the behavior of cells. Some CD proteins are not involved in cell signaling processes but have other functions, such as cell adhesion. CD124, also known as interleukin 4 receptor (IL4R), is a type I transmembrane protein that regulates the production of IgE antibodies in B cells by binding to interleukin 4 and interleukin 13, and promotes the differentiation of Th2 cells by binding to interleukin 4. CD124 in the form of CD124 can be hydrolyzed into a soluble form, which can inhibit IL4- mediated cell proliferation and upregulation of IL5 by T cells. sTim-3 is an immunomodulatory molecule that may be involved in the negative regulation of T cell- mediated immune responses.
