Detailed Introduction
Recombinant human Siglec-15 protein (Camel Fc tag).
background:
Recombinant human Siglec-15 protein (Human Fc) is a fusion protein of the extracellular end (20-263) of recombinant human Siglec-15 (Sialic acid-binding Ig-like lectin 15) and camel IgG2b Fc. Human Siglec-15 was initially found to play a role in osteoclastogenesis. It was recently found to be a tumor immune checkpoint expressed in tumors similar to PDL1. Siglec-15 can also be expressed in human macrophages. Siglec-15 can act on an unknown inhibitory receptor on T cells to inhibit the activation/proliferation of T cells.
Sequence source:
Siglec-15 is NCBI GenBank: AAY40743.1, and Camel Fc is camel IgG2b Fc.
