Detailed Introduction
Resazurin cell fluorescent dye detection reagent provides a simple, rapid, reliable and safe method for cell proliferation and cytotoxicity detection, and is suitable for high-throughput detection experiments. The main component of this detection reagent is resazurin , which is indigo blue and can be converted into a pink fluorescent end product resorufin under reducing conditions. Its maximum absorbance is 573nm, and the fluorescence is excitation light 579nm/emission light 584nm.
The detection principle is that during cell proliferation, the ratios of NADPH/NADP, FADH/FAD, FMNH/FMN and NADH/NAD in the cell increase, and the cell is in a reducing environment. Resazurin taken into the cell is reduced to resorufin by these metabolic intermediates and cytochromes, and then released to the outside of the cell and dissolved in the culture medium, causing the culture medium to change from non-fluorescent indigo blue to fluorescent pink. Finally, it is detected with an ordinary spectrophotometer or fluorescence photometer, and the absorbance and fluorescence intensity are proportional to the number of active cells.

Application direction:
1. Cell proliferation assay: Resazurin is water-soluble, stable in culture medium and non-toxic.
2. Cell viability and toxicity analysis: Absorbance and fluorescence intensity are proportional to cell viability and damage.
3. Cytokine analysis: measure cytokine-induced proliferation and, if necessary, recover and expand cells at the end of the experiment.
advantage:
1. Save time : The homogeneous "addition-incubation-detection" protocol reduces the number of operation steps.
2. Superimposable detection : The system can be used in conjunction with other detection kits.
3. Safety : In general, the reagents are not toxic to cells, and in some cases, incubation times can be extended. There is no need to prepare a scintillation mix, nor is there any need to dispose of radioactive waste (unlike [3H]-thymidine incorporation methods) or hazardous solvents (such as those used in MTT tetrazolium salt-based detection methods).
Storage conditions:
This product is light sensitive and must be stored at -20°C away from light. If used frequently, please store the reagent at 0-5°C. The shelf life is 6-8 weeks if stored at room temperature (22-25°C).
