Detailed Introduction
Firefly luciferase is a protein with a molecular weight of 61kDa. It is an ideal choice for reporter genes because it has no background fluorescence in host cells and does not require post-translational modification. Bio -Glory TM One-Step Firefly Luciferase Assay Kit is a fast and stable one-step detection kit developed for firefly luciferase . It is an upgraded product of Bio- Turbo TM One-Step, with a signal half-life of up to 60min. It is mainly developed for ADCC or ADCP activity detection systems and other detection projects with special requirements for sensitivity. This kit uses D-luciferin as a substrate. In the presence of ATP, magnesium ions and oxygen, it can be catalyzed by firefly luciferase to undergo oxidative decarboxylation reaction to produce activated oxyluciferin (Oxyluciferin) and produce bioluminescence (Bioluminescence) (Figure 1). Bioluminescence is proportional to the promoter activity of luciferase, which indirectly reflects the biological activity of cell stimulants.

The signal half-life of this kit is as long as 60 minutes, with super high detection sensitivity and super strong light output. The ADCC activity detection effect and the comparison with the detection effect of a well-known large company's product are shown in Figure 2. It can detect as low as 10-20 mol of luciferase, and shows a good linear relationship in the enzyme concentration range of 10-20 to 10-14 mol .
Note: The actual readings may vary due to differences in cell number, transfection effect, detection instrument, etc. The data in the figure are for reference only.
