Detailed Introduction

Product Overview:

Endo F2 (Endo-β-N- acetylglucosaminidase F2, Endoglycosidase F2) is a highly specific recombinant endoglycosidase that cleaves the chitosan core of asparagine-linked complex biantennary and high mannose oligosaccharides from glycoproteins and glycopeptides. It cleaves between the two N-acetylglucosamine residues in the diacetylchitobiose core of the oligosaccharide, generating a truncated sugar molecule in which one N-acetylglucosamine residue is retained on the asparagine. Endo F2 cleaves biantennary glycans at approximately 20 times the rate of high mannose glycans. Endo F2 is equally active on biantennary structures with or without core fucosylation , but has no activity on hybrid or tri- and tetra-antennary oligosaccharides.

Reagent packaging:

Endo F2 packaging specifications are as follows:

Reagents

Part Number

Specification

Endo F2

QPF-022

480U/30μl

Note: The enzyme is provided in liquid form and stored in 20 mM Tris-HCl, pH 7.5, without added preservatives.

Product Source:

Endo F2 is recombinantly expressed in E. coli, with a theoretical molecular weight of approximately 74 kDa .

Enzyme activity definition :

Endo F2 catalyzed the release of N-linked oligosaccharides from 1 μM porcine fibrinogen within 1 minute at 37˚C and pH 4.5.

Product Features:

1. High purity : Purity 90% as tested by SDS-PAGE;
2. High activity : Activity > 5U/ml;
3. High stability : Each batch of products undergoes strict quality control to achieve product batch-to-batch stability .

Product Application:

1. Glycomics ;
2. Glycoform analysis and determination of glycosylation sites;
3. Proteomics; 4. Mass spectrometry applications.

Storage conditions:

Transported with ice packs, it can be stored at 2-8 for 12 months to avoid repeated freezing and thawing.

Note:

1. For different glycoprotein samples, it is necessary to experiment to find the most suitable enzyme concentration and reaction time;

2. The reaction system can be expanded linearly;

3. To prevent microbial contamination, use aseptically as possible;

4. Higher enzyme concentration can improve the digestion efficiency of individual glycoproteins and needs to be optimized according to actual conditions;

5. Appropriate subpackaging to reduce activity loss caused by multiple freeze-thaw cycles;

6. This product is for research use only and is not intended for diagnosis or treatment of humans or animals.
